About Breathwork
It's important that you have an understanding of how I work and whether this type of modality is suited to your own individual needs and outcomes.
About Breathwork
Breathwork encompasses a range of intentional breathing practices designed to nurture well-being and foster transformation on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. Breath is a powerful link between the mind, body, and spirit. These practices help you gently tune into your natural energy and feel more connected to yourself. Breathwork has been used for thousands of years to support well-being.
The practice I guide, conscious connected breathwork, uses deep, rhythmic, and uninterrupted breathing patterns to support the release of emotional blockages and cultivate emotional healing. Conscious connected breathwork— circular breathing, or continuous breathing—offers variations tailored to individual needs and intentions, always with the goal of fostering emotional healing, inner growth, and personal transformation. These practices honour where you are in your life, creating a safe and nurturing environment for exploration, connection, and increased self-awareness.
This practice emphasises a conscious connection to your breath, inviting you to be fully present with each inhale and surrendering with each exhale, observing your experience with kindness and without judgement. As you engage with your breath, you may notice a range of physical sensations, emotions, or memories surfacing. Common experiences include feelings of warmth or coolness, tingling, changes in heart rate, and emotional release.
The inhale is an intentional act of receiving; you invite life-giving breath into your body. The exhale is a surrender—gentle and effortless, with no need to control or force it. The breath flows through the lower belly, allowing a soft belly and full-body engagement, creating space for deep relaxation and somatic connection.
